For this week’s blog post, I’ve decided to post an excerpt from my novel, No Escape. If you haven’t purchased your copy yet, don’t worry. There is still plenty of time. Here is a brief glimpse into my tale of extreme horror:

“He circled around to the front as quietly as he could, but his shadow must have given him away. He was only halfway around when he heard the sound of the tent being unzipped.

The girl stood at the entrance of the tent, looking out into the dark night. She was holding her arms out for him. She must have mistaken him for the boy. He decided not to ruin her illusions by opening his mouth. He walked right up to her. By the time she noticed he wasn’t who she thought he was, it was already too late.

She opened her mouth to scream, but his fist connected with the side of her face. She crumpled to the ground at his feet, knocked unconscious from the blow. It was too easy. He had been hoping for more of a challenge. He felt disappointed, like he had been robbed somehow. Oh well. He would soon have his fill.”

No Escape has been described as a great debut novel with a killer ending. Don’t forget to check it out if you get a chance, and please let me know what you thought when you finish. You can find the link below. Thanks everyone for all your support. I wouldn’t have made it this far without you. My next novel is well underway and should be finished soon. Stay tuned! -E.B.
