Horror Screams was created as a place for horror fans to find book and movie reviews. It’s a place for horror addicts like me to find out what’s hot and what’s not, without all the fuss.
I’ve had an addiction to horror from a very young age. It was my way of coping with the horrors of real life. Reading was a way of escape. Movies were, too. There’s just something about watching a scary movie alone at night to distract you from what’s really bothering you.
What are some of my favorite horror books? Anything by Richard Laymon is a good place to start. I love the way he sucks you into his stories and leaves you on the edge of your seat until the end. Some of my favorites by him include Island, Blood Games, and Endless Night. I also enjoy reading Steven King. My favorites include The Stand, The Talisman, and Cell. Jack Ketchum and Edward Lee are some of my other favorites, though I haven’t read as many books them as I should have. Hopefully, that will be amended soon. Other favorites include Robin Cook, Bentley Little, Clive Barker, Michael Crichton, and Dean Koontz.
